Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole by Hatopla Review

It has been a while since we reviewed an Onahole from the Taimanin series here on the Blog but today is the day friends. We are checking out the new Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole from Hatopla today. What we have here today is the regular one, but there is also an XL version out there which released alongside it with double the weight.

The Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole is the third entry of Hatopla’s seemingly initiative to create Hip versions of all Taimanin characters as in recent months, they already released the Taimanin HIP Rinko Akiyama as well as Taimanin HIP Mizuki Shiranui as well in both a regular version and an XL version.

The last Taimanin Onahole we checked out here on the Blog was the Taimanin Asagi Ingrid Dark Flame back in 2018 and before that the Taimanin Asagi 3 Sakura in the same year. They have been all designed in collaboration with the Japanese company Lilith who is behind the games.

So without further ado, I hope that our little introduction helped you and we are now diving right into the review for the Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole but before we do so, one more thing. We changed the rating system in our final rating, going from percentage to points (xx points out of 10) and also adding Pro’s and Con’s of the Toy. We hope you like this better as we feel that it gives a better insight that the system we used so far. We are surely happy to hear some feedback from you.

Packaging & Contents

The Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole comes in a nice and rather large box. It is colorful designed with a black and dark red theme and features naturally a large Illustration of the name giving Taimanin Yukikaze Mizuki.

The cardboard is sadly pretty thin which is not a good thing if you are planning on displaying it on your shelf or collecting the box. For the contents in the box, beside the Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole itself, there is also only a small pouch of lube which I feel is too les for the price they ask and a missed chance for a collaboration of such a well know IP.

I wish there would be more to say here but that’s it unfortunately. While the packaging looks nice, it doesn’t exactly scream Premium at you or offers anything that could be considered a welcome fanservice.

How is the experience with the Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole?

The Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole is actually a Hip but its weight of just 600g (1.32lbs) and measurements of 135mm (5.31in) in each length and width are more in line with a regular Onahole, not even a big one. So what you essentially have here is an Onahole in the shape of a Hip. Just for reference but the Harajuku Split! Mochi Mochi Soft we reviewed about 2 weeks ago has about 30% more of meat/weight to it with nearly 900g.

The outer design has some nice details to it, resembling her battle suit on the sides as well as a thong kinda underwear. Rather than going with a bland design here and just relying on the packaging itself to catch fans of the Taimanin series, Hatopla did put some effort in here to design the Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki and make it look as close as possible to the Taimanin Yukikaze Mizyuki.

While the toy actually is a double layer Onahole, the extra layer is only there in the very last part of the inner tunnel, so you can not actually see it unless you check the pictures or cut it open. The entrance Hole is pretty tightly designed I must say and the overall rather firmness does also play it’s part in it. The texture of the inner part is the same, all along the tunnel with some ridges all around. The stimulation that comes with it is nice but nothing spectacular. As the tunnel also had the same width all along, the experience is essentially the same, no matter how deep you go in and while I know from the pictures that there is a second layer in the last part of the inside, I was not really able to feel it I must say and the vacuum, if you can call it that, was also rather mild and is mostly influenced by the tight entrance and overall tunnel design.

For experienced Onahole users I just say that there is really nothing to write home about here but the quality is there and specially for those new to Onaholes, I think you can have fun with it. I would have wished, specially considering this seems to be such a big release for Hatopla, that they would do a little more here but it is what it is I guess.

While this sounds not at all too positive, I am in no way try to downplay the Taimanin HIP – Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole but due to the simple design and structure of the tunnel, it is really an overall medium experience without any WOW moments. The cleaning process is not too bad but due to the tight entrance, I recommend using a cleaning stick or sponge rather than trying to spread it wide open and rinse it with your fingers as the entrance can tear which should be avoided.

Our Verdict

The Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole by Hatopla is a decent toy, nothing more, nothing less. It does feel a bit like a easy cash grab on the back of the Taimanin license but the quality is there, it is just not too exciting.

If you are a fan of the series, I think the presentation is good, the box looks nice and the outer design of the Taimanin HIP Yukikaze Mizuki Onahole resembles the character but much more could have been done with this I feel, specially for the price of over $40.

PROS

  • based on the Taimanin license
  • Hatopla is a well know brand
  • nice outer design
  • overall decent built quality

CONS

  • too expensive for what it offers
  • rater bland stimulation
  • very thin cardboard box, not ideal for collectors

Overall score: 6/10
