The Aura III is the latest in the Aura series of onaholes created by Toys Sakai. I have already reviewed the original Aura and the Aura II in previous weeks. I also reviewed the Aura Mini when this website first went online late last year.
The Aura III comes in a square box with an unmarked bottle of lube like the previous versions of the toy. The box is a lot more lively with pictures of a Japanese woman cheering but that doesn’t matter much. Or at least it shouldn’t. I understand the need to compete with all the other onaholes available in Japan but one thing I have always liked about the Aura line is how straight forward things are. There is no attempt to clone a cunt or ride on a rising star’s coat tails. The Aura are slabs meant for stroking. Nothing more and nothing less.
One thing is certain. The release of several Aura onaholes was not done solely as a money grab or marketing gimmick. Toys Sakai is definitely trying to improve on the product with each new edition. I wrote that the original Aura was a bit on the hard side. The Aura II was released as a soft version of the toy. I wrote that the Aura II was a bit difficult to handle. The Aura III has small lines engraved around the outside which help to grip the toy. An effort is clearly being made.
The Aura III comes in a color that is a little closer to human skin than the Aura II. It is also denser than the Aura II. The material the Aura III is made of is high quality. It isn’t the dense gel like material of the first Aura or the super soft and supple pink material of the second Aura. It almost like a hybrid of the two. The Aura III is slick and sturdy but it could stand to be a little softer. I don’t mean for this to sound like something out of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. I am not hoping for something impossible. I am writing from experience knowing what kind of things the Japanese sex toy industry is capable of.
Like its predecessors, the Aura III is easy to lube. It has the usual small round open hole in the front which leads to a long canal. This love tunnel is filled with small rings which are less intense and noticeable than those inside the Aura II. They still create a nice sensation but it is a lot more subtle. As with all Auras the back side of the toy is sealed shut.
One of the best things about the Aura onaholes is that they create suction automatically by design. When a hard member is inserted into the lubricated hole, a seal is formed. With each stroke, air is forced out of the canal and the toy grabs a hold of the hard on. Unfortunately, it is more difficult to form a seal with the Aura III due to the material. It just isn’t as pliable as some of the others. A bit of pumping and plunging does produce some suction but it is not like what the earlier versions of the two could do. Perhaps this is by design too. Maybe Toys Sakai was going for a less sensuous version of the toy that would allow for longer and calmer sessions. I don’t know.
The feelings are still good. If I tried this toy but none of the other Auras I might like it even more. Then I would be comparing it to the other, mostly round onaholes available. In this case I am comparing the Aura III to the other Auras that came before it. I am also looking for improvements and evolution since the Aura III is build on the foundations of previous products.
The small lines around the outside of the Aura III are barely noticeable but they do represent a big improvement over the Aura II. While that was difficult to hold on to the Aura III is quite easy to grip which makes stroking sessions a lot easier. This is great. After all, fapping is supposed to be about relaxing not chasing a runaway masturbator across the floor.
Like all Auras, the Aura III is difficult to clean. The straight tunnel inside and open hole in the front make Auras dry faster than some other toys that seal shut but since they can’t be turned inside out or even really stretched open it is tough to get water and cleaning agents down the shoot. It can be done but it takes some work. I think it’s worth the effort but this is still something worth noting.
